FirePro Condensed Aerosol
FirePro Condensed Aerosol
Innovative fire suppression systems.
FirePro, in partnership with Sovereign Extinguishing, provide effective fire suppression using innovative solutions.
All systems we install are compliant to relevant standards and regulations, as well as the manufacturers’ guidelines.
How Does FirePro Condensed Aerosol Work?
FirePro Condensed Aerosol uses chemical and physical action to create chemical reactions that disrupt and extinguish many fire types. By introducing Potassium compounds to the fire, FirePro Condensed Aerosol interrupts chemical reactions and depletes required elements to extinguish fire.
Chemical Action
When a fire is detected, FirePro Condensed Aerosol releases Potassium (K) compounds to inhibit the chemical reactions required to sustain fire.
During combustion many reactions rapidly take place with unstable molecules – ‘radicals’- such as a Hydroxide (HO), which maintains fire. Potassium, discharged by FirePro Aerosol solutions, reacts with the free radicals to form Potassium Hydroxide (KOH), a stable compound. As the free radical molecules are reduced and become stable compounds, the necessary elements for the chain reactions cease to exist and the fire is suppressed.
Additional reactions take place during the dispersion of FirePro Condensed Aerosol Potassium compounds to ensure there is not harm present to people or the environment.
Physical Action
Chemical reactions, such as the bonding of Potassium and Hydroxides, require energy in order to take place. The fire itself provides the necessary energy for its extinguishing due to the abundant energy in flames.
FirePro Condensed Aerosol Advantages
Achieve rapid Fire Suppression through superior solutions.
As accredited installers of FirePro products, Sovereign Extinguishing recognise and champion the many benefits of FirePro solutions.
FirePro Condensed Aerosol has higher environmental credentials as a ‘green’ product, no specialised pressuring requirements, and permits a larger allowable leakage area while remaining effective.
FirePro systems have a working life of 15-years, 5 more than Gas Systems which require hydrostatic testing after 10 years.
